Voice Tracking Talent

Voice tracking is a method that is sometimes used by radio stations to make it appear as if a disc jockey is present in the studio and is delivering his talk live. In reality, the on-air spiels are prerecorded and these have been combined with commercials and music to create the illusion that he is broadcasting live. Radio stations usually have high-tech systems where the audio segments are kept in computer hard drives. Voice tracking has become a controversial issue because it allows the stations to operate with less disc jockeys while making it seem as if they are providing live programming.
